Regenerative solutions for healing and repair
ORTHO-BIOLOGICS
Orthobiologics are biological materials that orthopaedic surgeons use in modern orthopaedic surgical practice to promote rapid natural healing of injuries.
Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) therapy is a form of regenerative medicine that harnesses the body’s natural healing ability to repair and regenerate damaged or diseased cells, tissues, and organs. The two primary sources of MSCs are:
- Bone marrow: The iliac crest of the pelvic bone contains the highest concentration of bone marrow stem cells. Bone marrow concentrate (BMC) can accelerate the natural healing process and is often combined with bone substitutes to create an enhanced bone graft.
- Adipose tissue: Adipose tissue is rich in stem cells and can be harvested through a minimally invasive, low-risk procedure, making it a preferred source for MSC therapy.
Our Orthobiologics product line offers advanced solutions for harvesting high-quality bone marrow concentrate mesenchymal stem cells (BMC-MSCs) and adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (ADSCs).
These therapies are indicated for a wide range of applications, including orthopaedics, maxillofacial surgery, spinal surgery, pain management, wound healing, and general or urogynecological surgery.
