Bone marrow harvest needle with T handle

OSTEOBELL EXPLANT™ is a bone marrow harvest needle designed for allogeneic and autologous bone marrow harvest transplantation procedures.

The five holes on the cannula are offset from each other for a quicker and greater aspiration of bone marrow and hematopoietic cells.
The ergonomic handle improves grip and increases the precision of the biopsy procedure.
The “Trocar” tip stylet guarantees fast and less traumatic penetration.
With the universal Luer-lock connector, any syringe can be connected.
The OSTEOBELL EXPLANT™ Kit includes:
– a supplementary stylet which, once inserted into the cannula, allows an additional procedure to be carried out;
– a closing cap for protecting the user.

Bone marrow harvest is a crucial procedure for both allogeneic and autologous transplantation, enabling the collection of hematopoietic stem cells. These cells are essential for restoring bone marrow function in patients undergoing treatments for haematologic disorders.

Surgical technique:

Insert the cannula + stylet system perpendicular to the bone surface. Push the needle by turning it to the right and left until it enters the medullary cavity and then to the desired depth.
Remove the stylet.
Insert a syringe into the Luer-lock cone and aspirate the marrow tissue.
Reinsert the stylet and remove the system.
