INTRODUTTORE™
Coaxial positioning needle
Coaxial needle recommended in soft tissue biopsies with multiple samples.
INTRODUTTORE™ (or coaxial needle) is positioned to identify the exact area to be analysed. The biopsy needle is then inserted through the coaxial cannula.
- Sharpened Trocar tip.
 - Transparent conical grip.
 - Extra-thin wall tubing.
 - Colour-coded stopper.
 - Centimeter markings.
 - Available as a standalone device or as an additional option for biopsy needles such as SPEEDYBELL™, SPEEDYBELL DOPPIA CORSA™ and ESTER™/ESTER ONE SHOT™

Soft tissue biopsies that require multiple samples are typically performed when a more comprehensive tissue analysis is needed to improve diagnostic accuracy.
Taking multiple samples increases the likelihood of capturing representative tissue.
With the coaxial biopsy technique, a coaxial introducer needle allows multiple passes with a biopsy needle without re-puncturing the skin, reducing trauma and procedure time.
Surgical technique:
- Insert the INTRODUTTORE™ needle into the target tissue to establish the biopsy pathway.
 - Confirm correct positioning under imaging guidance.
 - Insert the biopsy needle through the coaxial cannula to obtain multiple samples without repositioning.
 - Once sampling is complete, carefully remove the needle while maintaining control of the biopsy site.
