The observational study includes four patients affected by degenerative joint conditions such as knee and hip osteoarthritis and bilateral knee synovitis. Each patient received treatment with microfragmented adipose tissue using the LIPO-PACK DUO, a closed and fast-processing system that does not require additional infrastructure. The outcomes were measured through standard scoring systems for function and pain.
The results showed a notable improvement in pain relief and joint functionality, with patients reporting high satisfaction after treatment. The study highlights the potential anti-inflammatory and regenerative effects of adipose-derived therapies, suggesting their value as a minimally invasive option in MSK care.
While the sample size is limited, these cases contribute to the growing body of clinical observations supporting the use of orthobiologics in musculoskeletal care. This content is shared for educational purposes and aims to encourage further discussion and investigation into regenerative approaches for OA and other degenerative joint conditions.
